Some vegetable juices can be a bit grassy for some, especially green juices, but when mixed correctly they are absolutely refreshing. If juicing a lot vegetable juices are by far the preferred choice, as fruit juices are high in sugar. You may also have heard suggestions that fruit juices should be limited to one per day, whereas vegetable juices can be enjoyed throughout the day.
Green apples work great as a sweeter and can be added to almost any vegetable juice. Another great thing to add is ginger, which works great with both fruits and vegetables. Here is some simple vegetable juice recipes to get you started. Please note each juice recipe is based around 1 large glass of juice which is very filling!
1) Green JuiceDirections: Wash produce well and chop to fit juicer. Juice, stir and enjoy.

5 leaves kale
1/2 cucumber
1.5 cups of spinach
2 green apples

1 small - medium sweet potato
1 orange
1 red capsicum
2 red beets
1 green apple
3) Beetroot carrot JuiceDirections: Wash produce well and chop to fit juicer. Juice, stir and enjoy.
Ingredients:
1 green apple

How I love to drink juice almost everyday. It is good for the health and a source of Vitamin C.
